About Art & Letter

Tapestries, heraldic crests, illuminated manuscripts, gardens, castle and cheateau architecture…
I’ve always been interested in art and design history - especially that of Europe and Egypt.
In more recent years, the addition of historic personalities occupy my thought (and paintbrush).
When traveling I’m an avid museum, library and fancy house-hopper. I like decorative details, collecting antiques I don’t have room for and recording many of the places I visit via paint, ink, digital and camera.
This is where the inspiration for my designs come from.
