Inspirational Art & Design

About Christine
Christine grew up on the East coast and mader her way to California permanently in 1995 when she started Swirly greeting cards. She began with a small line of about a dozen handmade cards, but quickly grew her business into a recognized brand with numerous licensed products, an illustrated gift book, and retail partners that include Target, Borders, Kinkos, and Amazon among many others.

Today, her work as an artist extends far beyond that of greeting cards and product design with writing, collaging, and painting as some of the many ways she expresses herself and shares her talent. Her first book of illustration and inspirational verse, Ordinary Sparkling Moments, will be released in September of this year.

Christine's passion for being creative and making dreams real has led her down a lovely, strange and twisty path. For many years, she considered her most important mission as an artist to encourage people to follow their dreams. She still considers this a philosophy worth fighting for, but through all of her experiences, she has learned that while dreams can, indeed, be made real and more delightful than we imagine, they take a lot of work, a lot of patience and a lot of persistence. If there is one thing above all else she wants everyone to know, it is that dreams take work, but it is the greatest work we can do for ourselves and the world.. - from swirlygirl.com
